Short version: We collect only what we need to operate the service. We don't sell your data. CV extraction happens in your browser — your files are never uploaded to our servers. You can request deletion of all your data at any time.

Resumind ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by VizoTechno. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website at resumind.vizo-techno.com and our Android application ("the Service").

By using Resumind, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address to create and manage your account. We do not collect your name, address, or payment information for the free tier.

Resume Content: If you save resumes to your account, that content is stored on our servers. This includes names, job history, education, and contact details you choose to enter.

CV Extraction: When you use the "Upload CV" or "Import CV" features, your file is processed entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. The extracted text is never sent to our servers during this process.

Usage Data: We collect anonymised analytics data including pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to understand how we can improve the product. This data does not identify you personally.

Device Identifiers: To provide rate-limited AI services consistently across sessions, we generate a random device ID stored in your browser's local storage. This is not linked to your personal identity unless you are logged in.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Resumind Service
• Create and manage your user account
• Process and store your saved resumes
• Apply fair usage limits to AI-powered tools (3 requests per email per 24 hours)
• Improve and personalise the Service based on usage patterns
• Send important account-related communications (not marketing emails without your consent)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
• Comply with legal obligations

4. AI-Powered Features

Our AI Hub features — ATS Score Checker, Job Match Analyzer, and Cover Letter Generator — send the text you provide to our backend API, which communicates with third-party AI services to generate results. The text you submit is processed to generate your results and is not used to train AI models.

We apply a limit of 3 AI requests per email address per 24-hour period. This limit is tracked using your email address in our database. Premium users may have higher limits.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share data with:

Service Providers: Trusted third-party companies that help us operate the Service (hosting providers, analytics tools, AI API providers). These parties are contractually obligated to handle data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests from public authorities.

Business Transfers: If VizoTechno is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and saved resumes for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or submit a data deletion request, we permanently remove your data within 30 days.

Anonymised analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months to inform product improvements.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (see our Data Deletion page)
• Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data
• Objection: Object to certain types of processing

8. Cookies and Local Storage

Resumind uses browser local storage (not traditional cookies) to store your authentication token, device ID, and user preferences. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted except as needed to authenticate API requests.

We use Google Analytics (anonymised) to understand how users interact with the site. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

9. Google AdSense

Resumind displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. We do not control the content of these advertisements and they are served by Google's systems.

10. Children's Privacy

Resumind is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately via our contact form at resumind.vizo-techno.com/contact and we will take steps to remove that information.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
• Secure token-based authentication
• Regular security reviews of our codebase and infrastructure

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
